We switched from AT&T because of the charges to our daughter and son-in-law stationed in
England with the US Air Force. AT&T was charging $1.86 per minute.

"Before our local phone company was taken over by a telephony giant who doesn't care about service, security, or good pricing I was happy with my phone service. The big-name carriers aslo promised special offeres that I had to fight with them to get them to deliver, and I thought, "why don't they just offer really low prices with no gimmicks and they won't have to waste time and money answering calls from angry customers?" Thanks Everdial for answering my wish. Lowest long-distance pricing with no per-call charges, and local toll charges which are the same price or cheaper than my local no-service carrier!"

I was able to make substantial reduction in my long-distance charges, obtain a toll-free number that my children really love at no additional cost, and place overseas calls at little more than the cost of domestic calls.
